Watery Fun at the Big Sky Water Park

Big Sky Water Park is the largest water park in Montana, and a welcome relief to countless visitors during the heat of summer. There are plenty of great rides and activities to entertain the entire family. It’s a great place to spend the day lounging in the sunshine and zooming down a waterslide.

The park has a number of very popular rides. The Big Shredder is a slide that allows single, double, and triple tube riders, and the Big Splash River Ride gives you the feeling of riding the rapids (all while in the safety of the park). For those looking for a real thrill, you can climb to the top of the seven-story Pizza Hut Geronimo Speed Slide, and take the plunge, or ride the Roller Coaster Bullet Speed Slide.

After taking a whirl down some of the slides, you can engage in a water balloon war with your friends and family, or play a round of miniature golf. Take a spin on the bumper cars, or a go-round on the carousel. There is even a full arcade with all of the latest titles in case you want to take a break from all of the watery action. You can always find plenty to do at the Big Sky Water Park.

The park is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so you can beat the summer heat. There is always plenty of parking and certified lifeguards on duty. You can rent lockers, if you brought a picnic lunch or some other items that you don’t want to carry with you the entire day – including your set of dry clothes, of course.

For the folks in your group that might not be expert swimmers quite yet, you can borrow the lifejackets free of charge. It is a safe and relaxing getaway for the entire family.

When it comes to food, the park provides a full concession stand that has pretzels, hamburgers, nachos, hotdogs, ice cream, and other snacks. You can also bring your own food if you wish, and because the park provides gas barbecues, you can even bring food for you and your friends to barbecue!
